Planning Your Stay or Visit to Moffitt Cancer Center

Admitting Hours

Admitting hours are from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekends.

Patient/Family Lounges

Comfortable lounges are located between the North and South towers near the elevators on floors 3, 4 and 5. Patients can enjoy a change of scenery in these areas, visit with other patients, or entertain family and friends.

Visiting Hours

Generally, visiting hours are between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily. Exceptions may be arranged with a patient’s primary care nurse.

Special Cautions

Visitors with cold symptoms (sneezing, cough, fever, etc.) are asked to avoid visiting while these symptoms are present. At times it may be necessary to restrict visitors for a particular patient. A “precautions” sign will be posted on the patient’s door. If your visitors have any questions about these precautions, please ask the nurse before entering the room. In the interest of our patients’ well-being, we limit our visitor groups to four persons at the patient’s bedside at any one time.
